Mantaray House Reef

Just off the front of Mantaray Island resort is our beautiful house reef, this reef is thriving with life as it is a marine reserve. You can walk off the beach so it is perfect for snorkeling or intro dives. The edge of the reef is sat at 12 meters. There are resident reef sharks and even leopard sharks.

Pinnacles

Just a 5 minute boat ride from Barefoot Manta Resort, three large coral bommies sit along side a sloping reef wall. Sandy bottoms surround the edge of each bommie, the deepest sitting at around 18 meters. Overhangs allow for different marine life to grow, such as hanging clams.

Point Break

1 minute boat ride away from the resort this site is off the point of the island, beautiful shallow coral garden with a sloping deep drop off with a sandy bottom.

Sunrise Beach

Entering from the shore of Barefoot Manta Resort, Sunrise beach follows a reef wall in two directions along the shoreline, with many smaller coral bommies covering the sandy bottom straight out from the boat channel entry point. A large coral nursery and giant clams also feature as part of Marine Projects.

Just a two minute boat ride west of Barefoot Manta Island Resort, coral wonderland is a gentle slope down to a sandy bottom with large pinnacles and coral bommies.

Located on the back of Voivoi island only 5 minutes away you can see the island from the beach at Mantaray Island Resort this is a fringing reef.

Navigator Wreck

Navigator is a 49 meter Chinese long liner, sunk on purpose, that sits above the sandy bottom at around 32 meters. Multiple rooms can be entered, including the captains wheel house, while other rooms can be observed through torch light, looking at the old boat system and for the creatures that now call it home.

Golden Gate

Golden Gate is a solo coral bommie, sitting alone surrounded by a sandy bottom. The highlight of the bommie is the large swim through at the bottom, with three entry/exit points. The bommie has little over-hangs, where the marine life hide from the current that circles the site.

5 minute boat ride. Coral garden along a wall slopping reef with sandy bottom lots of cracks and crevices along the wall. Super easy as it is a nice shallow dive.
