Illaunabaha

Illuanbatha is a beautiful reef dive a short boat trip North from Kilkee bay. Best dived before midday as the sun illuminates the reef wall. The east side of the reef starts at 12m with two slopes following the reef wall, one to 18-20m and the other to the rock field below at 25-30m.

Chimney Bay

Chimney bay, located on the far side of George’s head is a kelp covered site ranging from 5m - 30m. It is a gently sloping bay with an array of life, in and around the kelp covered boulders which is perfect for divers of all abilities. Due to it’s sheltered nature, can be dived in most seas.

Donegal Point

Found in a beautiful inlet along the coast is a peaceful kelp forest starting at 7m. After dropping into the kelp forest the dive follows a wall down to a max depth of 30m where you can spot an abundance of life in the cracks and overhangs as you swim through a airy cavern back around to the anchored boat.

Newfie

A beautiful nursery reef filled with life and colour! The perfect dive site for all levels with a sandy runway starting at 2m following a kelp covered rocky reef. Max depth of 10m. Newfie is well protected by the surrounding headland at low tide and can be dived in most seas.

Tony's Crack

A stunning underwater canyon, located a stones throw from the diamond rocks. Max depth of 18m, averaging 15m for the majority of the dive. The walls on both sides are filled with life and an array of nooks and crannies to explore. Kelp forests at the top of the crack is the perfect place to finish a safety stop.

The Pinnacle

This dive site is renowned for a reason, a triangular sphere of rock extending from 40m to 5m. From the bottom looking up it is a spectacle in itself. Start at your max depth and spiral around the rock until you reach the top, the perfect place for a safety stop.

Back of Lime Rock

5-10 minute boat spin from Quilty pier. Drop on the corner of the small island and keep the wall on the left side. The wall is in the shape of a bowl and depths from 10m all the way to 35m can be found here

Bridges of Ross

Beautiful shore dive with great geology. Swim out on the surface halfway out of of the bay, descend down and when you hit around 12m keep the wall on your right. about 15-20 minutes into the dive there is a crack on the wall. Follow that and you will find underwater bridges
