Sail Rock, Thailand

Sail Rock is a pinnacle which rises to 15m above and 40m below the surface. Sail Rock lies between Koh Phangan and Koh tao. It’s famous for its natural underwater vertical swim through or chimney which divers can enter at 6 metres and exit at 18.

Shark Island

Shark Island ranges from a depth of 0 to 25 meters, making it one of Koh Tao’s most versatile dive sites. Currents can be strong around this site, but divers can usually take refuge in the lieu of the island and enjoy a relaxed dive.

Hin Ngam Ko Tao

Hin Ngam is located on the southeast coast of Koh Tao, on the way into Aow Leuk which is a snorkeling and diving hotspot. The Him Ngam is sheltered and has a fringing reef running right around the bay. The dive site has a max depth of 12 meters with a sandy bottom making it ideal for beginner and student divers.

Buddha Point is off the coast of Chalok Baan Kao, located in the south of Koh Tao. This site is a hidden gem also known as Hin Taa Toh, or Buddah Rock. This quiet dive site is a shallow reef located at the edge of the bay close to freedom beach.

Located on South East of the island. This dive site has shallow water that is good for training dives and practice buoyancy. The dive site is sheltered, so you can dive in a calm and stable environment with no waves.

On the east side of the Island a small bay just south of Tanote bay. This dive site can be reached by boat from the west side of Koh tao taking around 1 hour or can be shore-dived straight from the beach.

Chalok Bay

Chalok Bay is a scenic beach with white sand and crystal clear water, making this hideout a wonderful spot for swimming and snorkeling. The beach has a gradual sloping coral reef, offshore beach, and at the edge of the bay where it is deeper, there is a dive site known as Hin Taa Toh, often used for beginners divers.

Tanote Bay

Tanote Bay is a beautiful dive site on the east coast of Koh Tao. The reef starts right at the shore and reaches over the whole bay. The edge of the reef is at a depth between 8 and 15 meters. Besides the Katamaran Wreck at 18m, Tanote Bay has different artificial reef constructions as well as small caverns!
