Kuda Haa consists of two connected thilas that can easily be spotted from the surface. One thila starts at 6 meters and the other one at around 14 meters. Both of them slope down to a sandy bottom at 30+ meters. Kuda Haa is a legendary site which many divers have dubbed as fish soup.

Moon Valley is located very close to Kuda Haa in the same channel to the south-east of Hilton Maldives Amingiri. Moon Valley is situated directly at the channel mouth. Moon Valley is a great channel dive site that is often conducted as a (gentle) drift dive along a wall.

Laguna Matata is as the name suggests the Lagoon of Happiness. The happiness there is simply provided by colorful coral block in all huge variety of shapes and an abundant marine life.

Dragon’s Mouth is an old time classic (and also favourite) that is located on the outside reef of North Male Atoll. The dive site itself is a well-protected inlet on the outside reef offering a number of caves.

Uthuru Ethere Faru translated from the Maldivian language Dhivehi and translates in English as “Northern Inside Reef“. The site features a sandy slope that transitions into an almost vertical drop-off, scattered with coral blocks and vibrant blue and green sponges teeming with marine life.

Uthuru Faru is Dhivehi and refers to North Reef as it is located at the north end of a bigger lagoon. Facing Hilton Maldives Amigiri on one end and the open Ocean to it’s west, makes this premium dive site and ideal location to spot almost anything the Indian Ocean has to offer...

Velassaru Caves is a beautiful spot on the outside reef of south Male Atoll’s northern tip. The name is given by the dive site location in combination with several overhangs spreading from depth levels between 10 to 30 meters.

It is safe to say that Ahmedbe Thila is more a fish soup than a reef. Starting from 8 meters the reef slope gently down to all sides except towards the ocean. The ocean facing side has a nice drop off to offer. The place was discovered by our Captain Ahmedbe upon spotting a lot of hutting fishes around...

The dive site is of round shape and can be defined as a classical Maldivian thila – a submerged pinnacle. The top reef is located at 4 meters which makes it easy to descent to for all experience levels.

What seems to be a rather “unspectacular” sandbank reveals itself as a very pretty dive site. Having said that, sandbanks are never really unspectacular in the Maldives but you wouldn’t expect a very pretty wall ranging from 3 to 30 meters when looking at the pristine white sand on top of the reef.
