Gouye Top

Just 5 km from our club, “Gouye Tan Mbot“ captivates both amateur and professional divers with its fascinating underwater topography. The volcanic relief creates a striking underwater landscape, providing natural refuges for an astonishing variety of marine life.

A 24 m rock with the Podium wreck, a Chinese boat smashed into several large pieces around 30 m long, near the old anchor and the Kankan and Top wrecks.

A very nice wreck at 23 m at the bottom and 13 m at the highest point, which can be entered at cabin level. A nearby drop-off is close to 30 m and it is possible to do a circuit of three wrecks in this sector (Top, KanKan, Podium).

The wreck is a Chinese trawler lying on its edge in a north-south direction, with the bottom at 32 m and the top of the deck at 26 m. No mast. The cabin and gangway are safe to cross. The holds can be visited by Wreck Advanced.

One of the most unusual sites is located off the coast of the Iles de la Madeleine : the Séminol Plateau, where basalt organs stand. Stretching over parallel bands ranging from 20 to 40 metres deep, these eroded, sometimes broken, promontories bear witness to ancient magmatic activities.

This magnificent wreck lies on a 34-metre seabed and offers a wide range of penetration levels, from easy to confirmed. Apart from that, you can have fun looking for all the living species hidden in the nooks and crannies of this wreck.

This magnificent wreck rests delicately on its side, at a depth of 34 metres, on a sandbank. Its top reaches a height of 27 metres, and its depth has allowed it to remain remarkably well preserved over the years.

A 35m-long former trawler set on 28m of sandy seabed, with a deck at 22m and an impressive mast that rises 14m. In good condition despite its age, with numerous accretions. Lots of fish. A slightly narrow cabin that can be visited.

An ideal site for diving and Try Scuba with a relatively protected environment depending on the weather conditions of tide, current and swell. This site is also used for training, notably Stress & Rescue exercises in real conditions.

The “Iles de la Madeleine“ are accessible in 15 minutes from the Corniche piers at Plateau and Lougne Island has an interesting configuration for try scuba, beginners and experienced divers. For the experienced, a route allows you to discover two small wrecks in the 21 m zone
