Antons is one of the best dives in Sodwana. Anton’s Reef is so-named after one of the first dive operators in Sodwana Bay (1980’s) – Anton Buchel. Numerous varieties of coral such as fleshy soft coral, table, and spiral coral, as well as colourful sponges cover the area. This section of reef is on the sea ward side of 2 mile reef and forms part of the sloping section toward the deeper part of 2 Mile Reef. The reef forms trench like structures where coral reef and sand channels alternate.
