Kuda Madi Giri

Located just north of Amingiri. This dive site lies in the protection of a faru in between two channels. This makes the dive sites less exposed to strong currents and therewith suitable for all experience levels. The reef structure is a thila from 4 to 30 meters.

Shews Thila is the extension of the close by main reef. The top starts at around 2 meters and drops down in stages to 30 meters in most areas. A perfect place for treasure hunters...

Iru Thila is a small free standing reef on the west side of North Male Atoll. Starting from the topreef at 7 meters it drops down to around 30 all around

Jemima Giri is a very beautiful, classical Maldivian Giri. It is named after a young female diver who first dove the place. Starting from 0.8 meters the reef gradually slopes down to its maximum depth of around 20 meters.

Toti Thila is a small reef with its reeftop starting at around meters. It’s drops down on all sides to around 30 meters where the corals meet the seabed. Toti Thila is named after the Instructor who first discovered it - Toti!

Lao Fu Thila is a deep topped Thila (24 meter) accessed by a short ride from Sub Oceanic at Hilton Maldives, perfect for divers with a deep diving certification. Its location close to a channel provides a flow of current which brings a fresh flow of nutrients to support the abundance of fish life on the Thila.

Sara Thila is a beautiful seamount with its topreef starting from 12 meters and reaching the sandy bottom from 25 to 40 meters. Depending on the side of the Thila. Sara Thila is named after a female dive instructor who was the first in history to submerge at this place...

Kudabe Thila is a large Thila with a top reef at 15 meters. The north side drops down in a steep manner until 50 meters and more whereas the south side is more of a steady gradient slope... Its location in the channel can make it tricky to dive from time to time.

Located just north of Hilton Maldives Amingiri. This dive site is situated in the backdrop of a channel and just east of our dive site Hulangu Kandu. Due to its location strong currents can affect it. The site consists of a thila with three top reefs at 3 meters. The sandy bottom lies at around 20 to 30 meters.

Sho Plateau was discovered by our boat crew Shominator during a dolphin cruise when he spotted a school of eagle rays crossing the sandy patch of the place and “forced“ our dive instructors to test the place! A unique place on the outside reef with incredible bio diversity and marine life - anything is possible!
