Kushimoto
- 383
Kushimoto, the southernmost town on Honshu, is strongly influenced by the Kuroshio Current, and has a large variety of tropical fish from Okinawa and Izu, making it one of the top fishing areas in Japan.
The rare and symbolic Azahata fish can be observed throughout the year. Fringed shrimp, nudibranchs, and jawfish can be seen year-round. In winter, you can see big fish such as razor sharks, spiny stingrays, and common spiders.
