Nautilus Reef
- 2219
A unique reef made from an ancient lava field, Nautilus Reef is an easy boat dive just offshore from Ala Moana Beach on the island of Oahu. The northwest side, closer to shore, is shallower and then drops off to about 100 feet on the south side.
Lots of fish here including triggerfish, butterflyfish, the beautiful Moorish idols, and lots of urchins. You may get lucky and spot a white tip reef shark resting in one of the overhangs.
