In 1993 Dennis Tapp recognized the need for a training destination where divers could complete their certifications, practice their skills or just enjoy a fun relaxing freshwater dive. Pennyroyal Scuba Center opened for divers the following year as a basic diving destination. Over the past 29 years, Pennyroyal Scuba has grown into a full service diving and training center and is the oldest SSI Dive Center in the state of Kentucky.

Our Pennyroyal Scuba Dive Professionals will work to make sure our students receive the highest standard in training. Our mission is to make diving the best & safest that we can. We achieve this by teaching the SSI system of diving education. From answering common questions to assisting divers in equipment selection, our dive pros are here to help you explore the underwater world.

We offer daily and weekend diving April to November. Our scuba park operates on a seasonal schedule, Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter. The park is closed during our Winter season but you can still reach us through phone, email or web chat on our website.
