Sales & Training Manager – Hong Kong

We are on an expansion course at our headquarters in Hong Kong and are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Training Manager.

Areas of responsibility

  • Maintain and grow the local dive business for SSI and Mares
  • Develop and execute an aggressive acquisition and growth plan for Recreational Scuba, Extended Range, Freediving, Mermaid, Swim, and Lifeguard.
  • Perform regular Training Center visits and organize Instructor meetings to provide business, sales, marketing, and training support.
  • Develop and implement SSI & Mares marketing initiatives/materials and business initiatives for growth.
  • Regularly communicate all SSI news with Training Centers and Professionals via phone, email, visits, etc.
  • Conduct training, such as Specialty Instructor Seminars, Crossovers, and Instructor Evaluations.
  • Manage office communications efficiently.
  • Support administrative and organizational tasks and assist in the coordination of business operations.
  • Travel to SSI & Mares HQ, attend SSI Sales Meetings, and participate in Trade Shows, as requested.

Requirements

  • Relevant training or experience in office communication or industrial clerical work
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Cantonese
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office
  • Quality awareness and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Certified SSI diving instructor with desired proficiency in professional training
  • Experience in dive training and wholesale would be advantageous
