Diving in Anilao

Around 40 dive sites can be found in Anilao; the most famous are Sombrero Island, Maricaban Island, Cathedral and Mapating. The best way to arrive at these sites is by a short boat ride. Take a liveaboard trip to explore the underwater world of Anilao and go see the Coron Wrecks, and Apo Reef. This place is famous among divers and underwater photographers for its great biodiversity which includes rich reefs, a variety of fish, unexpected critters and nudibranchs turning up at every corner. Some other marine species include shrimp, crabs, nudibranchs, small squid, Bobbit worms, Rhinopias, Hairy Frogfish, Wonderpus, blue-ringed octopus, and cuttlefish.
