Diving in Laconia

Laconia is the southernmost tip of the Peloponnese peninsula and is an area that is full of beauty and adventure. Although it is off-limits to most recreational divers, the most popular site here is Pavlopetri. This site is home to what is considered the world’s oldest submerged city and is full of archaeological significance. If you cannot make it there, there are plenty of other great dives that the crystal-clear waters of the Laconian Sea have to offer. This area is full of amazing dive sites with a wide range of diverse marine life, historical shipwrecks, chasms, and underwater caves.
