Diving in Sihanoukville

Had to the southern provinces of Cambodia and you will find the idyllic beach town of Sihanoukville, with its palm-fringed beaches back by lush forests and mountains. It is a favorite spot for backpackers and has a party vibe as well as being a great jumping-off point to explore the dream tropical islands just of the coast.
If you’re looking to dive, it’s the islands you will be aiming for, where the Andaman Sea is calm and clear, with fantastic visibility and a whole array of marine life to see.
The diving can be year-round, but the peak season is from November to April, when you can explore rocky walls and drop-offs, breathtaking reefs and amazing wrecks. Whether you want to pick out different multicolored corals or spot fish sheltering among boulders, the variety of these islands is fantastic. There is also diving for all levels, from beginner to advanced, with enough to keep everyone mesmerized by the beautiful sights. Choose the less visited islands on a live-aboard and you will find pristine reefs and even seahorse breeding grounds, while other less-visited islands are home to giant barracuda, marlin and even whale sharks. Wherever you go you will be awed by the abundance of marine life.
