Diving in Mabul & Sipadan Island

Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, formed by living corals growing on an extinct volcanic cone. Getting to Sipadan Island is not easy; you will need to land in Tawau Airport, followed by a 4-hour transfer by land and a 1-hour boat ride; however, this place is worth the trip. You can’t miss Barracuda point, rated in the top 10 dive sites of the world for it’s swirling barracuda scene. Another famous dive spot includes the Turtle Cavern, where you’ll learn the story of how turtles got lost inside the cavern.
