Koh Haa’s scuba diving highlights include The Lagoon, The Cathedral and The Chimney. There are also underwater pinnacles, drop-offs, walls, caverns, inter-connected chambers and swim throughs to explore.
The marine life that can be found at Koh Haa varies from rare Ghost Pipefish measuring only few centimetres, to an Octopus hiding amongst the rocks and crevices. A Hawksbill Turtle is often seen swimming amongst the pristine coral.
One of Koh Haa’s highlights is the series of caverns and swim-throughs. The largest cavern has three chambers and is known as The Cathedral. The first two chambers are connected by a shallow swim through at about 9 metres.
You can find banded sea snakes, lionfish, nudibranches, frogfish, harlquin shrimps and many many others...
Our big boat is going to Koh Haa 3 times per week.
KOH BIDA
KOH BIDA NAI
Koh Bida Nai has an amazing topography of underwater crevices, huge boulders and fields of staghorn reef.
Leopard sharks are quite common in this area, especially on the eastern side of the island. Blacktip Reef sharks and Whitetip Reef sharks have been known to make apperances in the area and be sure not to startle bamboo sharks which may be hiding under the rocks or in cracks.
KOH BIDA NOK
Boasting a remarkably dramatic underwater topography, Koh Bida Nok is characterized by steep precipices, caves, swim throughs and underwater crags. It is no wonder that Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai are the two most popular divesites in the Phi Phi islands.
Kuhl’s stingrays are common in the area and look out for small bamboo sharks in cracks. Look to the blue beyond the reef and you may also see schools of pickhandle barracudas and bigeye snapper. Along the reef, you will also find a variety of colorful reef fish, such as pufferfish, porcupinefish and lionfish.
Our big boat is going to Koh Bida 3 times per week.
Around the Phi Phi islands there are many attractive dive sites with beautiful scenery and frequent appearance of Black Tip and Leopard Sharks. Usually we visit following sites: Pallong Wall, Maya Corner and Viking Cave.
Special attention must be payed to the shipwreck, which was sank in front of the Viking Cave in June 2013 to create an underwater attraction.
Kled Gaeow Wreck is a gunship 47 m of length, resting on the sandy bottom in front of the Viking Cave. The depth on the bottom reaches 26 m and the top of the wheelhouse is 14 m under the sea surface.
The wreck is surrounded by huge schools of big fish. Its interior is home for many smaller species – schools of small Barracudas among others. In many different places, one may find many Stone Fishes and Frog Fishes. Very special are great Lion Fishes hanging around almost everywhere. One may also see sharks out in the blue.
In general, it is very beautiful and unforgettable dive site.
