SSI Ambassador Program - Meet the New SSI Ambassadors Here

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the SSI Global Ambassador Program, featuring nine extraordinary individuals worldwide. These SSI Ambassadors represent the pinnacle of expertise in freediving, scuba diving, Extended Range, and other specialties.
The new SSI Ambassadors are dedicated to sharing their unique experiences, inspiring others, and promoting sustainable diving practices. They will serve as the voices of SSI, embodying SSI’s commitment to enriching people’s lives and protecting the oceans.
A Successful Pilot with Edges of Earth
This landmark initiative follows a successful pilot year with the Edges of Earth Expedition team, the first-ever SSI Ambassadors. It marks a new era for SSI in creating a passionate and engaged diving community.
The Edges of Earth team consists of three passionate professional divers - Andi Cross, Adam Moore, and Marla Tomorug – who are on a mission to amplify the importance of ocean conservation and the power of scuba diving and freediving to a global audience.
In the past year, the Edges of Earth team has traveled to nearly 30 countries, sharing stories of individuals and communities dedicated to preserving fragile underwater ecosystems.
Andi Cross, Edges of Earth expedition lead, remarked:
"We have been honored to represent SSI for the past year and meet exceptional divers worldwide. Now, it is time to introduce more incredible individuals dedicated to the cause. We have truly enjoyed working with these professionals, all brought together by SSI’s efforts to help establish the best pro-divers in the world."
A Broader Vision
Building on this momentum, the SSI Global Ambassador Program aims to build brand awareness and connect with potential divers who may not yet know the joy that scuba diving and underwater exploration can bring.
This ambassador program will showcase SSI’s unique experiences and commitment to cutting-edge diving education. It will support SSI Training Centers by highlighting activities available at these centers, encouraging people worldwide to start their diving journey.
The Global Ambassador Program will also promote continuous learning, inspiring current divers to keep learning and exploring with SSI. It will emphasize the endless possibilities diving offers when advancing to professional levels.
Finally, this program will also amplify SSI’s Blue Oceans initiative, reinforcing the importance of ocean conservation and eco-friendly diving.
