Haven Kats Zuid

From the very limited parking you enter the water at the point of the right breakwater. You have to swim out a bit before you are deeper than 10 meters, after that the bottom drops more quickly to a maximum of 25 - 30 meters. Be careful not to end up in the harbor mouth!

Katshoek

The dive site Katshoek is wonderfully densely vegetated and at low tide you can see the blocks of a breakwater sticking out above the surface. If you are a crayfish lover, the inside of the breakwater is the place to be. On the outside of the breakwater the current can be somewhat stronger.

Putti’s Place

Putti’s place is deeper than the Goes lock and it can be quite currenty. Due to the various breakwaters you don’t always swim parallel to the shore and it is strongly advised to set your compass well and follow it! In the water it is shallow for a while, but soon you come to a wall that quickly runs to 25 and deep

Goese Sas

Here, at the Sas van Goes, because of the current, diving is only possible at low tide!!! Before the tide, you go slightly away from the shore, after the tide, slightly back towards the shore (at low tide). At high tide, you have the opposite. It is best not to dive here at high tide, this can be dangerous.

Colijnsplaat Oostnol

To enter the water, cross the dike and walk to the point of the pier. There you enter the water. From the pier you can swim straight out to the shore. Apart from that, not much is known about the dive site. Given its location, the site is very sensitive to bad weather, which affects visibility.

Oude Kademuur van Zierikzee

Between the Zeelandbrug and the harbour de Val, at the height of the 2nd pillar you will find remains of the old quay wall of Zierikzee. This runs from about 3 meters at low tide to about 20 meters. The spot is actually not accessible from land, which makes a boat dive necessary.

Kulkenol

Kulkenol is very difficult to reach, you park at the Zeelandbrug and then walk about a kilometer in the direction of the harbor of Zierikzee, to the tip of the T-shaped breakwater. The water is diverted here in a bend to the shipping channel, which often causes a very strong current. Depth is 35m.

Havenhoofd

There is not much diving on the pier. It is a long walk but the spot is worth it! Please note, it is located at the harbor entrance of Zierikzee so do not dive in the waterway. One spot runs down to a depth of 50 meters but after the Second World War ammunition was dumped here and it is a prohibited diving area.

Noordbout

Noordbout is much less popular than Zuidbout, partly because there is also a lot less to see here. You enter the water at the point of the pier and swim out. Then you can dive to the left side. The place has a depth of about 20 meters. If you want you can dive from here towards Zuidbout.

De Val

You can only park at the parking lot of the restaurant, from there it is still quite a walk before you can enter the water. It is best to enter the water at the left side of the light pole and from there parallel to the side to dive towards the Zeeland bridge.
