Koningsheim

Koningsheim is a shallow place, where you can enter the water at each of the two breakwaters. In front of the right-hand breakwater there is a well up to 35 metres, here the bottom slopes steeply downwards. The current can be quite strong here. You can only dive here at high tide.

It is best to dive here at low tide, then you can cross the old harbour mouth on foot. From there you walk to the corner and enter the water at the first breakwater. Havenhoofd

There is not much diving on the pier. It is a long walk but the spot is worth it! Please note, it is located at the harbor entrance of Zierikzee so do not dive in the waterway. One spot runs down to a depth of 50 meters but after the Second World War ammunition was dumped here and it is a prohibited diving area.

Haven Kats Noord

It is best to enter the water at the beach in the corner next to the mouth and dive from there diagonally to the left. The dive site is very beautifully overgrown and strewn with blocks. The further you go to the left, the more sand you encounter, to even end up completely on the sand.

Kulkenol

Kulkenol is very difficult to reach, you park at the Zeelandbrug and then walk about a kilometer in the direction of the harbor of Zierikzee, to the tip of the T-shaped breakwater. The water is diverted here in a bend to the shipping channel, which often causes a very strong current. Depth is 35m.

Haven Kats Zuid

From the very limited parking you enter the water at the point of the right breakwater. You have to swim out a bit before you are deeper than 10 meters, after that the bottom drops more quickly to a maximum of 25 - 30 meters. Be careful not to end up in the harbor mouth!

Levensstrijd

Levensstrijd (Life Struggle) is a relatively shallow dive site, but if you don’t like the crowds at the neighboring dive sites, then this is the place for you. You can dive both along the rock dump on the dike and the sandy bottom where you can also find harder substrate.

Halverwege

Halfway between, you wouldn’t expect it, Kulkenol and the Zeeland Bridge you will find this dive site. You can dive here around the turn but also during or after the turn low tide enter the water and drift towards the Zeeland Bridge.

Wissenkerke Oostnol

From the parking lot walk far to the point of the breakwater, enter the water there and swim out in the extension of the nol. Then turn right, towards north, northeast to then slowly become shallower again and leave the water again at the point of the nol. It is recommended to dive here at low tide.

Like a number of other spots in the Oosterschelde it is quite a walk. A boat dive can be a solution here. It is a surprisingly nice and diverse spot with lots of life.
