Dharavandhoo Thila

Dharavandhoo Thila orients itself on a north, slightly northwestern to south, slightly southeastern axis, with its shallow end being on the south, coming up to a rooftop at around 6 meters. You’ve got a good 20-30 meters of oval-shaped reef top, which slopes gently down to a sandy bottom a bit over 20m.

Maalhos House Reef

Maalhos House Reef is easily accessible from the beach. The reef is right off the shore, and starts at a few meters and drops off. There are several small overhangs all over. It is possible to do a nice, long and relaxed dive here.

Maalhos Manta Point

Maalhos Manta point is our very own Manta Ray cleaning station on the island reef. It is a bit of a swim away and we usually take a boat out there to make it a bit more comfortable.

A pleasant reef to snorkel or dive to explore. A vertical hole in the reef creates a blue hole like swim through allows scuba divers to descend down and exit from a cave at the bottom.

Digufaru Thila

This is a small thila 80m long and 70m wide in the middle of a channel which promises a lot of currents. Due to the current, this dive site should be dived by experienced divers only, or those who are willing to learn! Smart diving in the current’s shade required or the right place to be shown by an experienced instructor.

Maarikilu Caves

nice drift dive first in a small bay and later on a steep wall. In the bay, sloping from 4 to 22m to then have a small dropoff. With a bit of luck you can see the wonderful manta rays passing by here from January to April.

Fares Thila / Canyons

This site gets its name from the many canyons and overhangs that you can find between 12 and 30 meters. These crevices make great shelter for the nearby marine life. The coral growth here starts at around 10 meters. This site is suitable for all levels, although there can be strong currents.
