Anga Faru translates to Mouth Reef in the local language, is a big reef with a lagoon and sand bank enclosed. The slope is fairly steep in some areas and there are multiple overhangs.

Dharavandhoo Thila

Dharavandhoo Thila orients itself on a north, slightly northwestern to south, slightly southeastern axis, with its shallow end being on the south, coming up to a rooftop at around 6 meters. You’ve got a good 20-30 meters of oval-shaped reef top, which slopes gently down to a sandy bottom a bit over 20m.

Maalhos House Reef

Maalhos House Reef is easily accessible from the beach. The reef is right off the shore, and starts at a few meters and drops off. There are several small overhangs all over. It is possible to do a nice, long and relaxed dive here.

Maalhos Manta point is our very own Manta Ray cleaning station on the island reef. It is a bit of a swim away and we usually take a boat out there to make it a bit more comfortable.

Digufaru Thila

This is a small thila 80m long and 70m wide in the middle of a channel which promises a lot of currents. Due to the current, this dive site should be dived by experienced divers only, or those who are willing to learn! Smart diving in the current’s shade required or the right place to be shown by an experienced instructor.

Maarikilu Caves

nice drift dive first in a small bay and later on a steep wall. In the bay, sloping from 4 to 22m to then have a small dropoff. With a bit of luck you can see the wonderful manta rays passing by here from January to April.

Beriyan Dhekunu Thila

This dive site is a must for all experienced divers. The small main block, only about 80m round, is surrounded by smaller reefs that are almost canyon-like and have holes and arcs to dive through. Due to the location, this dive is great for deep / nitrox.

Beriyan Kuda Thila

Because of its current, BKT is reserved for experienced divers or is dived in times of low current. Not far from BBT, the rock rises to a depth of 16m. The south side has a nice plateau at 25m and then drops off steeply to 40m. Cleaning station for gray reef sharks!
