Shark Reef - Grenada

3 mile long strip of shallow reef, 30 ft / 10 mtr to 17 mtr / 50 ft, which is home to many small nurse sharks. Being the Atlantic this can have 4 kt currents on it although we do try to avoid diving there at those times.

Glovers Reef

Similar to Shark reef in make up except it is 25ft / 8 mtrs to a maximum of 45ft / 15 mtrs. Again many holes to look in (carefully!) as it is slightly shallower you can see drums and smaller eels including the elusive chain moray.

PURE GRENADA is a Jewel in the Windward Islands, favoured with many wrecks, plentiful reefs and marine life below the water as well as Rainforests, Volcanic lakes, beaches and Waterfalls, not to mention the locally grown, and produced Rum and Chocolate, what else could you want in a Caribbean island.

Grand Canyon - Grenada

This is actually 2 separate sites, one is called Kapsis due to the wreck that sank on the inside edge in 2005 and the actual Grand Canyon site which is another rock island sitting 1 / 4 mile away. Depth maxes at 70ft / 21 mtrs although the top of the reef is only 15 ft / 5 mtrs.

Stingray Alley

A long sand channel extending from the Northern most tip of Lighthouse reef averaging 34 ft / 11 mtrs. Large sections of seagrass and random barrel sponges and rocks provide cover for many creatures.

Lighthouse Reef - Grenada

An exposed Patch reef with large rocks and overhangs which may be hiding large nurse Sharks. 45ft / 13 mtrs - 75 ft / 22 mtrs. Large seafans, otherwise mostly a hard coral reef.

Kohanee

The last section of reef before the Atlantic, this site has a wide depth range of 10 mtrs / 30 ft to over 100 ft / 30 mtrs in places although fairly narrow across the top. Due to proximity, it is arguably the “best“ site in Grenada for life and sponge and coral growth as well as marine life.

Magazine Reef

Shallow reef outside Royalton hotel, averaging 30 ft / 10 mtrs and max depth of 12 mtrs / 40 ft. Lots of soft coral and good place for Open Water Divers with a mostly sandy bottom.

Dr. Grooms Garden

Shallow patch reef averaging 40 ft / 12 mtr. Covered in soft corals with a hard coral substrate and lots of holes. Generally mild current allowing lots of time to explore looking for small critters.

Black Forest - Grenada

Named for the Black Gorgonians that are found from halfway down the 40ft slope to the bottom at about 73 ft / 21 mtrs. There are numerous holes and this also is the start of the large Orange Elephant ear sponges lending their colour to this magnificent reef.
