Stingray Alley

A long sand channel extending from the Northern most tip of Lighthouse reef averaging 34 ft / 11 mtrs. Large sections of seagrass and random barrel sponges and rocks provide cover for many creatures.

Glovers Reef

Similar to Shark reef in make up except it is 25ft / 8 mtrs to a maximum of 45ft / 15 mtrs. Again many holes to look in (carefully!) as it is slightly shallower you can see drums and smaller eels including the elusive chain moray.

Southernmost reef in Grenada, shallow on top 30ft / 10 mtrs, slope drops to 90 ft / 24 mtrs lots of holes on top and on the slope with a fair chance of Sharks and Stingrays.

Shark Reef - Grenada

3 mile long strip of shallow reef, 30 ft / 10 mtr to 17 mtr / 50 ft, which is home to many small nurse sharks. Being the Atlantic this can have 4 kt currents on it although we do try to avoid diving there at those times.

San Juan (Wreck)

Small inter-island cargo vessel (80ft / 24 mtrs) long laying on the coral rubble sand bottom at about 105ft / 31 mtrs. She was moved by Hurricane Ivan in 2004 about 200 ft West.

Very shallow 6m / 20 ft, mainly sandy bottom. Very good area for Eagle and Stingrays with the elusive Trunkfish seen occasionally. If you look carefully you can see a scorpionfish or 2.

Shallow reef outside Royalton hotel, averaging 30 ft / 10 mtrs and max depth of 12 mtrs / 40 ft. Lots of soft coral and good place for Open Water Divers with a mostly sandy bottom.

“Muck“ dive extraordinaire. Large Star boulders scattered across the slope with a sandy area at the bottom and large holes in the reef. Very much a slow dive looking for critters.

Shallow patch reef averaging 40 ft / 12 mtr. Covered in soft corals with a hard coral substrate and lots of holes. Generally mild current allowing lots of time to explore looking for small critters.
