Pointe de la Galère

At the north-eastern tip of Port-Cros island, Pointe de la Galère is one of the most beautiful dives in the National Park. The dive takes place along a rocky point that descends to 34°.

To the south-east of the island of Port-Cros, Pointe du Vaisseau is a dive that closely resembles La Gabinière in terms of both flora and fauna. However, unlike Gabinière Est or Sec de la Gabinière, there is much less current.

A varied site consisting of scree slopes, narrow canyons, sandy areas and posidonia. All this is enhanced by two wrecks (the Spahis and the General Paoli).

Hellcat

The plane rests flat on a gently sloping bottom in the middle of rocks. The propeller is missing, the cockpit is open. One of the wings rests on the sand and the second is in open water.

Pointe de la Croix

Located southeast of Port-Cros, Pointe de la Croix has a topography similar to Pointe de Montrémian, i.e. a long rocky stop a few meters high, surrounded by posidonia.

Wildcat, wreck

The plane lies on the sand at a depth of 53 m. Visibility is often excellent at this site, and the wreck can be seen from as low as 30-35 m. As always on wrecks, it's a good idea to stop for a moment and contemplate the silhouette of the Wildcat. The aircraft is upside down, with the cockpit open in the sand.
