Shaab Rahma

Entrance through a layrinth of canyons and tunnels. Very nice coral garden. The corals drop off over a shallow slope to about 25m. At the entrance there are several coral towers.

Abu Hamra

Entry via the reef top followed by a 30m tunnel with a small hole at the end. The dive time through the tunnel is around 4 minutes and there can be current. Afterwards you will find very nice soft corals and boulders.

Shore dive with the minibus. Entrance through a hole in the reeftop. Very jagged reef with coral garden on both sides to about 15m depth.

Bay with sandy entry. The sandry bottom is slow downgoing till 40 meters. On both sides are coral gardens will 30 meters. A rope is helpful to enter and exit the dive site by current.

This dive site belongs to the dive sites which are dived from land. The entrance is on foot after a short distance over the reef top.

Abu Saaf ED

Shore dive by minibus. Entry through a hole in the reef roof, followed by an approximately 80m long tunnel, which ends through a hole at a depth of 7m in a coral garden.

El Makluf ED

Shore dive with the minibus. Entry through a hole in the reef top and a canyon. Several coral blocks reaching from 10m to 40m to just below the surface. In the south very nice coral garden with many table corals.

Flamenco Beach Resort

Entrance from the jetty, a reef that walls down to about 40 metres and more and then descends further. Although perhaps the actual coral formations, given the nature of the reef, are not very present below about 18 metres, the site is excellent for fantastic sightings in the blue.

Part of the fantastic house reef at the Magic Life Hotel south of Safaga, right on the doorstep. The dive site can be reached comfortably from the hotel's own jetty.

El Quadim

The El Quadim house reef is located directly in the bay of the Mövenpick Hotel El Quseir and has an eventful past with its 5000 years of history (originally the oldest trading port in Egypt, the old amphorae & anchor). Very easy to dive with a large bay of 4 m depth with a north and south side and a deeper area.
