Stavenisse Oostnol

The current can be quite strong here. You enter the water at the end of the pier, which is a bit of a walk. From there you can swim out, be careful because you are very close to the channel here, where you are not allowed to dive in principle. After that you can explore the left side of the pier.

Quaak

This spot is the last in the row at Stavernisse. It is a nice spot, alternating with sand, mussel/oyster beds and stones. Not exactly a spot for beginners.

Zuidbout

At the end of the dam, however, you get a beautiful steep wall that runs out into one of the deeper places of the Oosterschelde. On the left side of the dam lies a small wreck at a depth of 12 meters. There is not much to recognize anymore but it is nicely overgrown. Zuidbout is not a suitable place for beginners.

Noordbout

Noordbout is much less popular than Zuidbout, partly because there is also a lot less to see here. You enter the water at the point of the pier and swim out. Then you can dive to the left side. The place has a depth of about 20 meters. If you want you can dive from here towards Zuidbout.

Zonneschijn

A relatively unknown spot. Nice to visit, swim along the pier and afterwards explore the eastern side of the site. Nice variation between stones and sand.

Blinde Dam

The spot gets its name from the fact that the dam disappears under the surface at high tide. It is recommended for boat dives because it is quite a walk.

De Val

You can only park at the parking lot of the restaurant, from there it is still quite a walk before you can enter the water. It is best to enter the water at the left side of the light pole and from there parallel to the side to dive towards the Zeeland bridge.

Oude Kademuur van Zierikzee

Between the Zeelandbrug and the harbour de Val, at the height of the 2nd pillar you will find remains of the old quay wall of Zierikzee. This runs from about 3 meters at low tide to about 20 meters. The spot is actually not accessible from land, which makes a boat dive necessary.

St Annaland

There is a small parking lot and you walk along the dike, until the bend, there you go into the water. Easiest to go into the water at high tide. When you dive here at rising tide, you can perfectly drift back to the beach here. Keep in mind that boat traffic can come quite close to the shore here.

Goudzwaard

This dive site is opposite and in the same inlet as Zoetersbout. A nice alternative when it is busy and a good spot to swim along the reef formed by oysters.
